Police say at least one person is in custody after a “multiple stabbing incident” Saturday afternoon at a Michigan Walmart store.
Michigan State Police (MSP) confirmed the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred at the Walmart in Traverse City.
The suspect is in custody, according to MSP.
It is unclear how many people were injured.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Walmart said it is “working with police on this and deferring questions to them right now.”
Officials asked the public to avoid the area, as the investigation is ongoing.
