THOUSANDS of Americans must claim their cash as the window is closing fast.
A payout of up to $12,500 is on the table from a major $9.95 million settlement, and claimants barely need to lift a finger to grab it.

The deal comes after a massive data breach hit a student data firm based in Virginia.
The 2023 cyberattack exposed sensitive information including Social Security numbers after hackers reportedly broke into the MOVEit file transfer software.
National Student Clearinghouse, a nonprofit that handles education records, used the compromised platform.
Hackers got into NSC’s files between May 28 and May 31 last year, according to the lawsuit.
The breach sparked a $9.95 million class action settlement and the money’s now up for grabs.
Those impacted can claim cash for out-of-pocket losses, fraud, and even time spent fixing the mess.
Ordinary losses like bank fees, credit monitoring, or time spent on the fallout can get you up to $2,500.
Extraordinary losses are covered up to $10,000 for bigger hits like identity theft or professional repair help.
If you can’t show any losses, you can still grab a $100 alternative cash payment.
That amount could go up or down depending on how many people file claims.
Everyone in the class also scores two years of free credit monitoring and identity protection.
That includes three-bureau monitoring, real-time fraud alerts, and up to $1 million in insurance.
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
To be eligible, your Social Security number must have been in NSC’s files during the breach window.
You’ll need just one document to file, like a receipt, bank statement, invoice, or phone record.
What’s a class-action settlement?

Class action lawsuits offer groups of people, or ‘classes,’ a way to band together in court.
These suits are often brought by one or a few people who allege a company or other entity has wronged a large group of people.
When a suit becomes a class action, it extends to all “class members,” or people who may have similar complaints to those who filed the suit.
Companies often settle class actions – offering payment to class members who typically waive their right to pursue further legal action by accepting money.
These payout agreements frequently include statements by the defendant denying wrongdoing. Companies tend to settle class actions to avoid the costs of further litigation.
Pollution, discrimination, or false advertising are a few examples of what can land a class action on a company’s doorstep.
The deadline to file is May 26, 2025, and that’s your last shot to claim.
If you try to cash in without qualifying that will be considered fraud and could harm others in the class.
The deadline to object or opt out is even earlier April 25, 2025.
A final court hearing is set for May 12, 2025, to approve the deal.
Don’t wait until it’s too late this could be your only chance at a five-figure payout.
CLAIM YOUR MONEY
Americans have more chances to scoop up thousands in cash thanks to two new settlements over data breaches and false advertising.
One $7.5 million pot comes from PostMeds Inc, after claims the company exposed sensitive data during a 2023 cyberattack.
Those affected could grab up to $4,000 for out-of-pocket losses tied to the breach.
The deadline to file a claim in that case is May 12.
