Lady Gaga introduces new dog, first since 2021 kidnapping incident

Lady Gaga has good reason to enjoy the dog days of summer.

The Grammy and Oscar winner took to TikTok to celebrate the debut of her new pup, a French bulldog, earlier this week.

In a self-filmed video, the “Shallow” singer — adorned in blue eyeshadow, black eyeliner and bright red lipstick — lip-syncs over her new song with Bruno Mars, “Die with a Smile.”

Gaga, who recently confirmed her engagement to partner Michael Polansky, didn’t reveal the name of her new dog in the video, but did caption it with a snowflake emoji.

The star of the forthcoming film “Joker: Folie a Deux” is the owner of three other French bulldogs: Miss Asia, Koji and Gustav.

The new pooch comes three and a half years after Koji and Gustav were stolen in Los Angeles after her dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot four times in the chest.

Following the incident, Gaga offered a reward of $500,000 for her dogs’ safe return, saying her “heart [was] sick” over the theft and describing Fischer as “forever a hero.”

Fischer survived the attack and the dogs were eventually returned unharmed.

Five people were arrested in connection with the theft and attempted murder. James Howard Jackson, the leader of the group, was sentenced to 21 years in prison in December 2022.
