Krispy Kreme is giving out a deep discounted doughnut deal in honor of its 87th birthday.
On Friday, the doughnut chain is offering a dozen of its Original Glazed doughnuts for just 87 cents with the purchase of any dozen at regular price.
“Treating our fans on our birthday is a long-time tradition,” the company’s global brand officer Dave Skena said in Tuesday’s announcement. “A dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just 87 cents when you buy any dozen is a sweet way for us to thank our fans who have kept us going all these years.”
There is one caveat for carb-craving customers, however. The deal is limited to two dozen when purchased in-store, and one dozen when purchased online for pickup or delivery, at participating U.S. locations.
Known for its frequent freebies and discounts on non-traditional holidays, Krispy Kreme has made a custom of celebrating its birthday with doughnuts going for the same price as the company’s age. In 2023 for the 86th anniversary of its founding, a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts were offered up for 86 cents.
