The final phone call of a British man who flew to Tenerife before vanishing has been revealed.
Kris Finney, 31 from Ramsbottom in Greater Manchester, travelled to the holiday island on Thursday morning to meet up with friends.
Upon arriving on the Spanish island he called his mum that afternoon to say he had arrived but warned his phone was running low on battery, according to his aunt Debbie.
However, he failed to meet up with his friends in Tenerife and his family and friends have not heard from him.
His family claim his phone is switched off and messages fail to deliver.
The electrician, who works across Lancashire and Manchester, is described as a white male, about 5ft 7ins tall, with short dark hair.
His family are now desperately trying to find him and have spoken to local and Greater Manchester Police.
It is understood that he was set to be staying at Casa Natalia, Armeñime in the south of the island.
He was last seen in the Playa de las Americas resort area of the island, near to the McDonald’s restaurant area.
His aunt, Debbie Kenyon, said Kris last spoke to his friends around 9pm last Thursday but since then nobody has heard anything from him.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Debbie said: “He was going for a week away and meeting up with his friend. He flew out on Thursday morning last week. He arrived on Thursday afternoon. His mum got a text at 4pm from him, and that was the last we heard from him. According to some of his friends, they were speaking to him around 9pm that night.
“Since then, nobody has heard anything from him. He was supposed to meet up with his friend who is staying in a different hotel and never showed.”
Debbie said that Kris may sometimes not contact family for 12 to 18 hours.
Photos of Kris and details of his last known location have been shared on the Missing Persons Tenerife Facebook group, which has over 10,000 members.
