Swedish alcohol manufacturer Kopparberg recently launched a strawberry and lime flavoured gin.
Of course, we were very excited about this news and couldn’t wait to give it a try while sitting out in the sunshine.
But now they’ve only gone and topped it by announcing a SECOND flavoured gin which is set to hit supermarket shelves very soon.
This new pink-coloured drink is inspired by the company’s popular fruity cider and they claim it tastes “even better than it looks”.
If you struggle to choose between a bottle of Kopparberg’s mixed fruit cider and a gin and tonic, you’ll definitely want to try this new drink, which combines the best of both worlds.
That’s because this new tipple is a mixed fruits flavoured premium gin which tastes of raspberry and blackcurrant.
As well as these flavours, it will also be infused with botanicals such as juniper, lemon zest and corriander.
The brand recommends serving the mixed fruit gin over ice and topping the glass up with lemonade.
You can then garnish this with fresh mixed berries.
Alternatively serve with tonic and garnish with a slice of cucumber and a sprig of basil.
Those keen to give it a try will be able to do so from June 4, when it’ll be available in select Asda stores. This is perfect timing, as it’s just ahead of World Gin Day on June 8.
The new gin will set you back £20 for a 70cl bottle with an alcohol volume of 37.5 percent. This is £2 cheaper than the brand’s strawberry and lime offering.
This won’t be available to order online, so you’ll have to actually head out to the supermarket to make a purchase.
You can use the Asda store locator tool to find your nearest branch.
Always remember to drink responsibly.
