THE Kansas City Chiefs revealed their potential NFL Draft plans on social media – and fans took notice.
The defending AFC champion Chiefs and the other 31 NFL teams have less than two months to prepare for the 2025 NFL Draft, which will take place on April 24.

On Monday, the Chiefs posted on X an article link from their team website, previewing the upcoming draft’s top offensive tackle prospects.
The franchise highlighted six players: LSU’s Will Campbell, Missouri‘s Armand Membou, Texas‘s Kevlin Banks Jr., Ohio State’s Josh Simmons, Oregon‘s Josh Conerly Jr., and Minnesota’s Aireonte Ersery.
However, barring a trade up, Campbell, Banks Jr., and Simmons are expected to be off the board by the time the Chiefs select with their No. 31 overall pick, leaving the team to possibly draft the other four prospects.
Chiefs fans reacted to the NFL Draft message, expressing their wishes for the franchise to pick a “long-term solution” at left tackle after playing four players at the position in 2024.
“Let’s find some candidates for OL,” one commented.
“We need a long-term solution at OT!” another wrote.
“Posting this after signing a FA at LT is interesting timing,” a third said.
The last comment referred to the fact that Kansas City signed former San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Jaylon Moore to a two-year, $30 million contract.
Moore has spent all four seasons in the NFL with the 49ers as a backup.
He made 5 starts as a left tackle last season when the star veteran Trent Williams was injured.
The Chiefs made the signing after playing musical chairs with the position in 2024.
They finished the campaign by moving the All-Pro Joe Thuney to left tackle.
However, Kansas City traded Thuney to the Chicago Bears, leaving the team to sign Moore and possibly draft an offensive tackle in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Nonetheless, there will be competition at the left tackle spot in the upcoming season.

They could also start the 2024 second-rounder Kingley Suamataia, who started two games last season before being benched for Wanya Morris.
The offensive line, other than the left tackle spot, appears set, as Creed Humphres is penciled in as the center, recently franchise-tagged Trey Smith is the right guard, Jawaan Taylor is the right tackle.
The left guard position could be given to Mike Caliendo.
The Chiefs are coming off a disappointing Super Bowl performance against the Philadelphia Eagles last month.
Patrick Mahomes and company allowed six sacks to the champion Eagles.
