The Sag Harbor Police Department released the mugshot of Justin Timberlake Tuesday afternoon after his arrest in the wee hours for allegedly driving under the influence.
It looks more like a head shot than the typical police photo. Timberlake’s piercing blue eyes stare glassily and directly into the camera from a face edged in a Miami Vice-level 5 o’clock shadow.
The 43-year-old crooner had told the cops who pulled him over that he’d only had one drink, a martini, before getting behind the wheel. Police said they saw him blast through a stop sign and veer out of his lane, and that he was clearly intoxicated.
“His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests,” police detailed in court papers.
Timberlake was held overnight before being arraigned on his DWI charges in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court and released without bail.
A vape, a little over $100 in cash, and other items were confiscated and then returned.
