Simmons, 22, was on the initial list of 17 prospects attending the event in person.
He has been tipped to be selected by the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 31 overall.
But an updated list of attendees was released this week.
And Simmons changed his mind on going to the NFL Draft.
The revised list featured 15 names of first round hopefuls who made the trip to Green Bay.
Maxwell Harrison from Kentucky was a late addition.
But Simmons was joined in pulling out by Jaxson Dart and Mykel Williams.
The top three presumed picks are all on the list to be at the event.
Miami quarterback Cam Ward is expected to go No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans.
Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter have also been highly touted selections.
All three will have their feet on the ground in Green Bay and be ready to shake hands with commissioner Roger Goodell when their name is called.
But some prospects choose to spend the draft at home surrounded by friends and family.
Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo gave an peek at his virtual setup on Good Morning Football on Thursday.
“I’m at my best friend’s father’s house,” he said.
“This is a place where I come to hang out and have a good time and really relieve my stress.
