GOLF star John Daly slammed the PGA Tour for the way they scheduled the PGA Championship.
The esteemed event was organised directly against one of the five major tournaments on the Champions Tour next week.

And Daly, 59, confirmed he won’t be competing in the PGA Championship.
Instead, Long John will be in the first of five majors on the Champions Tour – the Regions Tradition, which is scheduled for the exact same time.
Golfers eligible for both tournaments are typically expected to play within the PGA Tour head to head.
And the California native has questioned why a solution wasn’t forked out to give those over the age of 50 – eligible to play in the Champions Tour – a chance to participate in both.
Daly said: “I can go there and miss the cut and get $6,000.
“But I’m playing Birmingham. I love Regions. They’re a great sponsor.
“But why are they scheduling Regions the same week as the PGA Championship, where I can see Brooks [Koepka] and all the guys?”
Daly also issued a rather bleak update regarding his health as he stated that merely waking up is now a “win” for him.
The golf star underwent emergency hand surgery four months ago, which marked the 16th operation of his career.
And the results were unfortunately not impressive based on his following performances on the green.
Daly told AP: “I’m like Lazarus – I keep coming back from the dead. Waking up is a win for me.”
