Joe Biden fat shames Donald Trump as they argue over golf in CNN TV debate farce

President Joe Biden seemed to fat shame former president Donald Trump as they argued about golf during CNN’s presidential debate on Thursday night.

Amid increasing concerns about each candidate’s age and mental acuity, both Biden and Trump were asked how they will perform in a potential second term.

In his reponse, Trump boasted about his golf championship wins seemingly as proof that he can perform the duties of the president.

Trump said: “I’m in as good shape as I was 25-30 years ago. In fact, I’m probably a little bit lighter. I feel the same.”

Biden retorted: “You can see he is 6’5 and only 225lbs? Just take a look at what he says he is and take a look at what he is.”

Amy Koch, former majority leader of Minnesota senate, said exclusively to Daily Express US about the moments: “The most fiery exchange was over their handicaps.

“Would be best for America for them to retire and settle their score on the greens, not at the ballot box.”

Biden and Trump spent the better part of Thursday’s debate slamming each other’s records on various issues, including immigration, abortion rights, the economy, climate change, and international policy.

The debate, featuring deeply personal attacks by both men, came at a pivotal juncture in their unpopular presidential rematch and a critical moment to make their cases before a national television audience.

Biden’s uneven performance risked crystallizing voter concerns that at age 81 he is too old to serve as president, while the 78-year-old Trump’s rhetoric offered a perhaps unwelcome reminder of the bombast he launched daily during his tumultuous four years in office.

Biden repeatedly tore into Trump in personal terms, bringing up everything from the former president’s recent felony conviction to his alleged insult of World War I veterans to his weight and golf game. Initially focusing many of his answers on illegal immigration, Trump in the latter half of the debate lapsed into familiar grievances. Each man called the other the worst president in history.

The current president and his predecessor hadn’t spoken since their last debate weeks before the 2020 presidential election. Trump skipped Biden’s inauguration after leading an unprecedented and unsuccessful effort to overturn his loss that culminated in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection by his supporters.
