Jessica Chastain slammed for ‘whining’ over $15 JetBlue credit

Jessica Chastain is facing backlash for what many are calling a tone-deaf response to a $15 JetBlue credit.

The 47-year-old Oscar winner, who recently listed her Midtown pad for $7.45 million, took some heat for a now-deleted tweet directed at the airline.

In the post, she slammed the airline for refunding “1/100 of the money I paid you” after issues with their in-flight entertainment system during a trip she took with husband Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo, TMZ reports.

Relatable as her complaint may have felt, her net worth makes it anything but, as many pointed out. “We are whelmed by grocery bills while multimillionaire actor @jes_chastain whines about $15,” one user tweeted.

“First of all why is oscar winning movie star jessica chastain flying jet blue,” asked another.

“The way you can be a millionaire but still be a broke b—h at heart,” said another who accused the actress of “whining.”

Chastain said in her initial tweet that she shelled out $1,500 for the flight — as did her husband, according to chat screen grab Chastain tweeted after being told to DM the airline.

“Do you understand who you are dealing with? This is the actress @jes_chastain You don’t ask her to DM you. Ask your president to contact her manager,” a user quipped.

“Oh get over it Jessie! You’re not getting a ‘flight credit’ because the TV didn’t work. Bet you had champagne, a bed, and better food choices than guy in row 28!” one user pointed out.

Another user was struck by the fact that Chastain wasn’t alone on the flight, asking, “Is 6 hours together that horrible that you lose it over not having movies to watch?”

Some though sympathized with Chastain though, with one commiserating over their “bad” customer service.

“If Jessica Chastain gets treated this way what hope is there for the rest of us,” tweeted another observer.
