Jermaine Jenas has returned to social media following his BBC sacking.
“Hello you lot,” Jenas said in a story on his Instagram page. “Obviously been missing for a while on the socials…”
He was subsequently interrupted by his dog and quipped: “It’s the timing. Like, I’m trying to say something important and he decides to take a s***. I’ll come back to you, I’ve got to pick this up.”
Speaking in a new story, Jenas continued: “I thought it was important for me to jump on here actually and just talk to you lot and just say thank you for the level of support that you’ve shown me.
“It’s clearly been a difficult period for me but one that I’ll definitely grow from. We’re human beings, that’s what it is. You’ll learn from it. You’ll become a better person.”
