TV host Jeremy Clarkson is handing out 1,000 free kegs of his beer to pubs.
The Sun columnist and Clarkson’s Farm star says he is trying to help struggling landlords.

He will give away 89,000 pints of his Hawkstone lager and cider, made using crops from his Cotswolds farm.
Jeremy, 64, who opened his pub The Farmer’s Dog, in Burford, West Oxon, last year, said: “The only thing saving me from financial ruin is we serve Hawkstone lager and Hawkstone cider.
“If you’ve got a pub and if you want to see if this strategy works for you as well, get in touch with us at our website.”
One landlord praised the gesture, but said: “89 pints isn’t going to turn the fortunes of a struggling pub or restaurant.

“The gesture is a really kind one from Mr Clarkson.
“Hawkstone’s a fantastic beer and I genuinely like the guy, but I think he’s missing the mark a little.”
Nearly six pubs were shut every week last year amid rising costs.
In total, 289 boozers closed in 2024, resulting in 4,500 job losses.
Industry leaders blamed spiralling energy costs and warned tax hikes could force further closures.
The Sun’s Save Our Sups campaign has called on ministers to throw a lifeline to pubs.
