Tatum, 27, was seen limping to the locker room with help from trainers during the 113-95 win.
The six-time All-Star injured his ankle after a collision with Domantas Sabonis.
Tatum’s foot landed on his opponent’s after he attempted a three-point shot.
Sabonis was called for a flagrant one foul as Boston sweated on the fitness of one of their leaders.
Tatum appeared on the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce straight after his injury.
The show was recorded Tuesday and set to be released Wednesday morning.
But in a clip released late Tuesday, he allayed fears over his injury.
“I’m feeling good, man,” Tatum said when Travis asked him about the ankle problem.
“There’s a few benefits to being 27 – you recover pretty quickly.
“I’ll be alright.”
Jason Kelce, 37, laughed and tried to remember what his twenties were like.
“I sprained my calf jumping rope the other day,” the former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman said.
ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne reported that Tatum was just suffering from a sprain and soreness.
The team remained “cautious” around his injury so close to the playoffs.
Boston is the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference behind the Cleveland Cavaliers.
They are also the reigning NBA champions having won a record 18th title last year.
“He seems to be doing OK,” Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla said about Tatum right after Monday’s game.
“I didn’t see the play, but they made the right call.
“Fortunate that he was able to shoot the free throws.
“He’s taking care of it right now.
“He’ll do anything and everything to make sure he gets better.”
