Police in Tenerife believe Jay Slater may still be alive in a different part of the Canary Island, according to an insider, with officers reportedly investigating at least three bombshell leads.
In the ongoing investigation to find the 19-year-old British teen, who vanished while on holiday on the island last month, authorities have stated there are still “several lines of inquiry” active in the case.
“Even though the ground search for Jay is over, the investigation into where he might be remains very much open”, a Tenerife source told The Sun, who claimed police had at least three leads in the case.
“One line of inquiry is a theory that Jay might even be in a different part of Tenerife and still alive. All scenarios are being kept in mind.
“The case is very much open because there are still a number of unanswered questions which officers must find answers to.
