And now it has been revealed that she has been sued by her landlord, Sheila Irani, in January, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly.
The mother-of-two – who recently lost custody of her sons – signed a lease in April 2023 to rent the property for $10,145 per month.
Jaime now allegedly owes $42,580 in back rent and “has not paid any money, whatsoever” to her landlord since January.
The landlord is said to have locked Jaime out of the property until payment was fulfilled, with it also claimed the model had been staying on the property “maliciously” as an unlawful detainer.

Jaime’s lawyer has denied the allegations in an amended court motion.
In documents obtained by the outlet, Jaime’s lawyer argues: “[Irani] claims that [King] remains on the property maliciously. This is false.
“[King] has attempted to raise the funds for the back due rent, but claims unavoidable hardship due to the L.A. wildfires and distracted by active litigation.”
The documents also reveal that Jaime has alledegly expressed to her landlord “multiple times” that she has a desire to pay her the due money and is acting “in good faith to raise the funds”
Her attorney also noted that she is “involved in active litigation concerning the custody of her children”.
MOVIN’ OUT
This comes after photos obtained by The U.S. Sun show various personal items, such as a wooden daybed, mini trampoline and bulky pieces of furniture, put out on the sidewalk for trash pickup outside of Jaime’s former residence.
According to a source close to the fashion model, Jaime was forced to “downsize” and “had to find somewhere cheaper.”
“She has been struggling with her finances for years now after some failed film ventures but the custody fight and having to fight all the accusations made against her in court drained her bank accounts.

“She moved into a smaller space just this month,” they claimed.
The U.S. Sun revealed earlier this month that she could only see her kids on supervised visits for four hours a week after losing custody of them.
She lost custody of her kids after failing to complete a drug rehabilitation and parenting program.
CUSTODY BATTLE
The actress was also only allowed to FaceTime with her two sons for 20-minute increments in the months leading up to her death.
The strict rules surrounding contact with her sons came after her ex-husband, Kyle Newman, accused her of being a “chronic drug addict and alcoholic” in court papers.
Jaime shot to fame as a teen, with her discovered as a model when she was only 14 years of age.
During her first modeling job, Jaime began using heroin.
She quickly became addicted and used the drug from the age of 14 until she was 19, which was when she went into rehab.
Court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun earlier this year showed that Kyle was awarded full sole physical custody of his and Jaime’s two sons, James Knight, 11, and Leo Thames, 9.
Additionally, a judge ruled that Jaime is only allowed to spend four hours a week with the kids and all time spent with her sons must be supervised.
