AN iconic theme park is set to get a host of new attractions – and is also bringing back a much-loved vintage ride nine years after it was axed.
The vintage log flume ride was popular back in 2016 so thrill seekers will be pleased to know it’s making a comeback.

Dreamland, in Margate, is set to reveal the new attractions, which include a new VR room, ahead of the summer season.
The log flume ride will line up alongside the Big Wheel, Pirate Ship, Dodgems and Rock ‘N’ Roller rollercoaster and a host of other attractions.
Fans wondering whether the theme park’s most famous ride – the Scenic Railway -, will also reopen will have to wait a little longer as there was no mention of it’s return.
The Scenic Railway ride, which is known as Britain’s oldest rollercoaster, was forced to close last August after a ride came to a dramatic halt as a gaping hole appeared in the wooden tracks.
Passengers had to be escorted off the rollercoaster and the ride shut down for the rest of the season.
This year marks the park’s 105th anniversary, and 10 years since its reopening.
Dreamland will open for the Easter holidays on April 5 until April 21 and then weekends and school holidays until remaining open daily during the summer.
Also being introduced this year are all-day wristbands for unlimited access to the park’s rides.
A wristband covering all rides is priced at £24.99, while a wristband for kids costs £12.99.
Additionally, Dreamland is adding new free-roam VR games to the Roller Room.
This year will see some of the biggest names in music to headline the park‘s Scenic Stage, including Squeeze, Basement Jaxx, Supergrass, The Libertines, Texas, Roger Daltrey, The Sex Pistols ft. Frank Carter and Maribou State.
Previous acts at Dreamland will also return for the new season, including Tom Jones, Madness, Olly Murs and McFly.
Eddie Kemsley, CEO Dreamland, told blooloop.com: “What a jam packed season we’ve got planned for 2025, which is only fitting for our 105th birthday and 10-year anniversary of reopening.
“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to enjoy the season with us, from incredible music events to traditional seaside fun with rides, food, ice cream and seagulls – it’s going to be great.”
Dreamland first opened in Margate, Kent in 1920 and is thought to be one of the oldest surviving amusement parks in the UK.
