Easter is upon us, and with millions of Americans getting ready to eat candy until they can no more, other foodies will be worried about something equally as pressing.
Lots of fast food names will be closing on Easter Sunday, April 20, to celebrate the holiday.
This will leave lots of hungry customers unable to grab their favorite fast food.
This includes In-N-Out Burger, as confirmed by The Holiday Hours.
Fast food is taking a heavy hit this Sunday, with other big names closing up for 24 hours, too.
Places like Chick-fil-A, Arby’s and Chipotle will also be closed.
The US Sun recently reported on some of the big name grocery options in the US.
Costco, Target, Aldi and Sam’s Club will all be closed for Easter Sunday, leaving consumers with few places left to turn to.
Costco‘s website confirms the move which will see shoppers all over the country shut out for the day.
A spokesperson for Target said of the temporary shutdown: “Guests can expect regular store hours on April 19 and can check Target.com or the Target app for local store information.”
But places like Walmart, Dollar Tree and Whole Foods will be open on Sunday, The US Sun recently revealed.
DEPARTMENT STORES DOWN
Among the list of closures this week includes TJ Maxx, Marshall’s and HomeGoods, confirmed by The US Sun.
Those who like to go out on the weekends to pick up some extra bits may have to do it on Saturday, as others follow the closing list.
Other stores that will be closed that day include:
- Best Buy
- Dick’s Sporting Goods
- Hobby Lobby
- Homesense
- Kohl’s
- Lowe’s
- Macy’s
- Sierra
Some locations that run extra services, like CVS with its pharmacy, may only be running one part of the store on that day, notably.
They may also be running limited hours.
Americans are advised to check your local store’s open hours on the day in question.
WHAT IS OPEN ON EASTER SUNDAY?
But it is also important to keep track of the places that are staying open.
The US Sun has complied a list of several that will carry on serving customers in the US.
Not all fast food hope is lost, as Americans can expect some joints to stay open.
