A BEAUTY buff has sparked a fierce debate after forking out for a Turkey smile, despite people saying she already had ”amazing teeth”.
As we’re fast approaching this summer’s season of Love Island, there’s another hot topic TV viewers will be sure to talk about – the contestants’ dazzling white gnashers.

But it’s not just influencers and our favourite celebrities getting their smiles spruced up, as reported by Cliftonville Dental.
Each year sees thousands of British and Irish citizens jet off to Turkey in hopes to get bright pearly whites.
This is primarily because compared to getting your teeth done in the UK, the costs abroad are more purse-friendly.
One person who took advantage is beauty lover Rebecca Jones, who also shared the journey on TikTok.
The 31-year-old beauty recently took to her social media page to share the results of the so-called ”Turkey Teeth” – however, the smile glow-up left people totally divided.
After flying out to the coastal city of Antalya, Rebecca – who posts under the username @rebeccasherellejo – had all of her natural gnashers filed down to teeny pegs.
Although ”there was not much wrong” with her teeth in terms of aesthetics, ”they kept chipping all the time” after having had composite bonding done.
The mum-of-one also forked out thousands of pounds for a mega glow-up, which included a gastric sleeve, mummy makeover (MMO), as well as a juicy pout.
Rebecca recently told Fabulous: “I struggled with my weight from my teenage years – I was always bigger than all my friends.
“I can’t remember how much I weighed but I got called mean names because of my weight over the years.
“I’d tried loads of diets, PT sessions, gym memberships and I just couldn’t succeed.
“I’d overeat or not at all. I’d binge eat through any emotions and became reliant on food as my comfort.
“I’ve suffered with depression and anxiety over the years and in 2021 I’d researched more about the gastric sleeve.”
One evening, in March 2022, changed it all, after the mum realised she had topped the scales at 19 stone 13lbs.
In April 2022, Rebecca flew to Turkey, alone, for her gastric sleeve, and a year later, she returned to the tourist hotspot for a dental makeover and other plastic surgery, including an FDL tummy tuck, breast uplift and implants, 360 liposuction.
She told The Sun: “I had a phone call from a company from London – £19,800 just for breast surgery and tummy tuck, not including any liposuction.
What are the risks of getting surgery abroad?
IT’S important to do your research if you’re thinking about having cosmetic surgery abroad.
It can cost less than in the UK, but you need to weigh up potential savings against the potential risks.
Safety standards in different countries may not be as high.
No surgery is risk-free. Complications can happen after surgery in the UK or abroad.
If you have complications after an operation in the UK, the surgeon is responsible for providing follow-up treatment.
Overseas clinics may not provide follow-up treatment, or they may not provide it to the same standard as in the UK.
Also, they may not have a healthcare professional in the UK you can visit if you have any problems.

“Surgery in Turkey was almost 1/4 of the price of the UK!”
Ehen it came to Rebecca’s teeth transformation, she initially had composite bonding, but has since had 20 crowns fitted.
As the beauty lover had already had composite bonding done with the company a year before, she ”didn’t pay the full price”.
The stunner has been candid about her epic makeover on TikTok, regularly sharing snaps of herself before and after the treatments.
Fierce debate
While Rebecca loves her expensive makeover – and is now considering getting her thighs done to remove the excess skin following the weight loss – social media users have been left divided.
Many, like the mum, was gobsmacked by the transformation.
“I don’t usually like these posts but you really are looking outstanding!!” one fan recently said.
“MY JAWS BEEN ON THE FLOOR FOR 10 MINS! Beautiful before AND after,” another chimed in.
But there have also been plenty of those who reckoned the stunner already had ”amazing teeth” prior to the dental makeover and she had made ”a huge mistake”.
”OMG you had the most beautiful teeth,” thought one critic.
Another agreed, commenting: ”Your teeth were perfect, but whatever you like.”
”I thought the beginning was the after already. Whhyyyyyy did you do it,” someone else chimed in.
