I didn’t have high hopes for my £18 TikTok tiles as they’re so cheap but they transformed my kitchen & are easy to apply

A DIY enthusiast has revealed that she didn’t have high hopes for her cheap kitchen upgrade, but was soon left stunned with her home’s new look.

Hannah, a mother from the UK, gave her kitchen splashback a mega makeover, all for less than £20.

Thanks to self-adhesive stick-on tiles from TikTok shop, the content creator was able to add colour and style to her space, without breaking the bank.

So if the cost-of-living crisis has made your purse feel tighter than ever before, but you want to add something chic to your kitchen, then you’ve come to the right place and will need to pay attention.

Posting on social media, Hannah shared her short renovation clip with the caption ‘They arrived fairly quickly, the quality is great and they were easy to apply! Thoroughly recommend as a temporary [fix] or if you are on a budget’.

Hannah then explained that she was able to transform her new build kitchen for only £18.44, as she said: “Let me show you how I tiled the backsplash on my cooker for under £20.

“I got these stick on tiles off TikTok and I’ll be honest, given the price of them, I didn’t really have high hopes.

“I spent so long measuring and trying to get the perfect spots, then in the end, I decided to just go for it and hope for the best.”

Hannah claimed that the “trickiest part” was trying to line up the tiles after she’d stuck one on, but despite this, she reassured that you do “start to get a swing with it once you do a few”.

The savvy saver claimed that the tiles, which claim to be ‘fire resistant’ are available in “loads of different colours”.

She beamed: “These are in the shade beige and it took me about 20 minutes to do.”

Showing off her finished results, the DIY fan shared: “I’m so pleasantly surprised with the quality, I just need to figure out what to do around these edges.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @hannahmotherhood, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 85,200 views, 769 likes and 306 saves.

Social media users were left open-mouthed with the quick and easy kitchen overhaul and many eagerly flocked to the comments to express this.
