MUSIC star Stephen Wilson Jr suffered heartbreak just weeks before performing the national anthem at the NFL Draft.
The country sensation conducted an emotional rendition of the Star Spangled Banner on Thursday night.

It was a stirring performance, with fans noticing how touched Wilson Jr was while singing and playing his guitar.
And it has since been revealed he nearly experienced a family tragedy earlier this month.
He was set to perform at the charity festival Hogs for the Cause in New Orleans, Louisiana.
However, he announced on April 3 his mother was in an ICU in hospital.

She was “fighting to stay alive” after an ATV accident.
The 45-year-old had asked for fans’ prayers following the horrific incident.
He revealed she would be undergoing surgery the following day, on April 4.
“I love her dearly & I can not leave her at this moment,” he said in a social media statement.
“We are praying for a full recovery for her. thank you for understanding.”
Wilson Jr announced two days later his mom had been stabilized.
He revealed she was making “great progress”.
And he added that his scheduled show on April 6 in Georgetown, Texas, would go ahead.
That gave a major indication she was on the mend following her ordeal.
It is not known what he condition is just a few weeks on.
However, he said earlier this week that he was “honored” to perform at the NFL Draft.
Fans reacted positively towards Wilson Jr’s rendition of the national anthem.
It came just moments before the NFL Draft first-round started in Green Bay.
“I can’t stop listening. One of the best I’ve ever heard,” one said on X.
Another added: “Goosebumps. I’m in tears.”
A third commented: “He’s best thing I’ve heard in a long time.”
And a fourth added: “Stephen is amazing raw singer. He going to lit up the anthem.”
