A PETROLHEAD who bought a tiny 4×4 Subaru from Facebook Marketplace was able to transform it into the world’s smallest camper.
YouTube star President Chay fitted a pint-sized motorhome inside a Japanese-imported Subaru 4WD van.

Despite its diminutive appearance, the van is surprisingly roomy inside and well-equipped, with all the amenities a camper could possibly need.
In a video that has amassed around 2.6 million views on YouTube, viewers can watch the South Carolina resident – whose real name is Chay Denne – fully transform the vehicle into a compact living space.
With some help from his brother, Chay begins by fitting a wooden floor to the 1999 Subaru – a tricky task due to the van’s engine being located in the rear.
They then create an insulated frame to go around the engine, covering the new floor with black carpet.
Wood is also used for the walls, which are painted white to make the interior feel lighter and brighter.
Next, they work on making the space as homely as possible, with a custom-built couch that can even convert into a bed.
There’s also a well-stocked kitchenette featuring a microwave, fridge, and even a sink with running water.
Brilliantly, the pair make good use of every inch of space inside – even designing a tiled section at the back of the van that can be used as a shower.
Van-lifers will love the fact that the vehicle is capable of running fully off-grid, thanks to its electrical system powered by two batteries and 200W solar panels.
It even has its own water tank.
This isn’t even Chay’s rodeo, as last year, the internet sensation filmed the creation of an 80-inch micro-camper – which some people compared to a coffin.
The tiny living space even featured a TV, kitchen, and saved a fortune.
This comes as motorhome fans were recently treated to a look inside Carol Vorderman’s mobile home creation.
The former Countdown host created her own camper back in 2022, sharing updates with fans on its very own Instagram account.

She has since given fans a tour inside the motorhome transformation, sharing a selection of clips and snaps of herself and builders working their magic on her dedicated Instagram page, which has now amassed over 10k followers.
And amazingly they’ve managed to create enough space for her very own bathroom – fit with a shower head and sink.
