But after his 2022 smash at Dunsfold, Surrey, that fell to £256,000.
And latest accounts from 2023 to 2024 show he made a loss of almost £647,000.
In new Disney+ documentary, Flintoff, he recovers at his Cheshire home from facial injuries sustained in the crash.
An insider said: “He got £9million compensation from BBC Studios, a figure which left many staggered.

“But from 2020 to 2022 he was making almost £1m every year.
“The huge sum is a reflection of how much he lost in earnings — and how much he stood to lose as he still faces uncertain times.”
In the new documentary, ex-England cricketer turned coach Freddie, 47, is seen hosting Bullseye and says it might be his last TV work.
He admits: “I’m anxious.
“Even going through the walkthrough, looking on the screen, and seeing myself.
“I’m just trying to find my feet again.”
