DRAKEHOLES (6.00 Newcastle, nap)
Was more than a little unlucky to be beaten just under two lengths here last time. He came home strongly despite being held up a little too far off the pace. He is the type who needs some luck in running but he has dropped to just 1lb higher than his last success which came over this course and distance in November. He looks a decent price to get his head in front again.
DEMOISELLE KAP (4.10 Fontwell, nb)
Has been in blistering form since moving to the Jennie Candlish yard. She had 10 lengths in hand over hurdles before an equally easy victory chasing at Newcastle last time. She can bring up the hat-trick.
WALK ON HIGH (2.10 Fontwell, treble)
Went close in a decent handicap at Taunton last time out. He finished strongly there and the winner has scored again since so the form looks solid enough. He drops back into novice company here and has shown more than enough to get off the mark.
SALADINS SON (4.20 Wincanton, Lucky 15)
He showed his true colours as a chaser when winning pulling a bus over course and distance last time. His jumping was excellent and a 5lb rise in the weights won’t be enough to put the brakes on.
