TEMPLEGATE tackles a monster Saturday of racing confident of smashing the bookies.

Back a horse by clicking their odds below.

ROI DE FRANCE (2.40 Ascot, nap)

This son of Sea The Stars has been in good form on the all-weather and won’t mind dropping in trip on this turf comeback. There will be loads of pace on which should be ideal.

PUPPET MASTER (3.00 Lingfield, nb)

He was a little unlucky when fourth in the Ballysax at Leopardstown last time and should improve for this step up in distance.

RAINBOWS EDGE (2.05 Ascot, treble)

She went close in a Listed contest last time and has much more to come as a three-year-old.

Templegate’s TV verdicts

ASCOT

2.05

RAINBOWS EDGE looked useful last season when winning at Newcastle and Newmarket before holding her own in a Salisbury Listed contest.

Dropping back to a mile on handicap debut should suit and there’s more to come from the King’s filly.

Arisaig is another to have held her own in Listed class last season.

She didn’t get the clearest of runs at Goodwood last time and she’s got a fitness edge over her main rival.

Zapphire looked rusty after six months off at Musselburgh last month.

She’s just 3lb higher than her last win and should be competitive.

Bellarchi won this race last year but she seems to have gone backwards a little since then.

She’s 7lb lower as a result so may threaten.

2.40

ROI DE FRANCE has gone close at Listed level and was last seen finishing second on all-weather finals day at Newcastle.

He has enough pace for this trip and will enjoy sitting just behind what is sure to be a breakneck gallop. Oisin Murphy can steer him home.

English Oak needed the run at Haydock last time and was a big Royal Ascot winner over this trip. He’s up the weights but can be competitive.

Qirat has run well here before and likes this trip. He’s 7lb above his last win but has scope to improve for Ralph Beckett.

Myal has won four of his past five including over this trip in decent company at Haydock last time.

This track will suit and he’ll be on the premises again.

Diligent Resdev is sent south by the Easterbys after a good effort at Musselburgh last time and is an each-way player.

3.15

TURQUINO only made his debut this season as a four-year-old and looked good in winning both his all-weather runs.

He’s bred to be better than a handicapper and should be able to improve way past his opening handicap mark. This trip suits and he’s one to watch.

Fireblade did well to win at Leicester last time after taking a wide course and he’s another with scope to improve.

The booking of William Buick takes the eye.

Mighty Bandit looked a little rusty when just under two lengths behind him last time and is weighted to get closer today.

Calumet hasn’t shown a lot in a couple of runs this season but may improve for quicker ground.

LINGFIELD

1.15

GISELLE came off worst in a barging match when third in a Curragh Group 3 on comeback.

She should come on for that run and the hood may help her settle in this small field. She’s the clear form pick.

Harpsichord is proven over this sort of trip thanks to her close-up second at Southwell last time.

There’s more to come but she’s got a fair gap to bridge to the Ballydoyle runner.

Love Talk has not gone beyond a mile yet but has run at Listed level without disgrace.

1.50

FOX AVATAR finished like a train when a close-up fourth on handicap debut at Chelmsford 16 days ago.

He missed the break badly there and is capable of winning if breaking smartly.

Mister Daydream is looking for a hat-trick and he likes to tough it out from the front. He could be hard to pass if grabbing the rail.

Hamlet’s Night went close at Haydock 14 days ago and is best over this distance.

He’s gone up just 1lb so should be competitive again.

Mostawaa needed it last time and could make the frame.

2.25

POWER OF DESTINY won the last time she tackled this trip at Kempton four runs ago.

She looked in need of the run after a break at Newcastle last time and trainer Ralph Beckett is firing in the winners.

Candyman Stan didn’t have a lot to beat at Brighton last time but won with plenty in the tank.

He stays well but will have to pull out more from 7lb higher in the weights.

Ryan Moore takes the eye on board Vice President who scored for Aidan O’Brien last season.

He was entitled to need his debut for Richard Hughes last month and can take a step forward.

King’s Code didn’t enjoy Epsom last time after winning at Pontefract but he’s been better over shorter so far.

3.00

PUPPET MASTER chased home Derby fancy Delacroix in the Ballysax at Leopardstown and would have been closer than fourth with a clear run.

He has the benefit of Ryan Moore in the saddle today and should appreciate this stiffer test of stamina.

Aidan O’Brien stablemate Stay True looks the biggest threat after a smooth success on debut at Leopardstown last month.

He’s by Galileo so won’t lack for staying power.

Prince Of The Seas was all at sea at Epsom on comeback and should have learned from the experience.

Quite a few of the yard’s horses have improve a bundle for a run.

Rahiebb was nabbed on the line at Haydock last time and has ability but will need to find more against these rivals.

3.35

JABAARA was far from disgraced in an American Group 1 last month when flying home at the finish.

She was second in the Falmouth Stakes last season so has plenty of class.

This drop in grade can see her score for Roger Varian.

Cathedral finished last season with a close second in the Oh So Sharp at Newmarket in October.

That was just her second run so there’s improvement to come. She’s a big threat if fully fit.

Great Generation won this 12 months ago and struck again at Doncaster in September.

She has run well when fresh and is dangerous.

Spiritual got her head in front just once last season and that was over a mile on soft so this may not be the ideal race.

Fair Angellica is a Listed winner over this trip and Ryan Moore is a good jockey booking.

HAYDOCK

1.35

GOBLET OF FIRE clocked a personal best when winning at Hereford.

He showed plenty of pace there on the decent ground and looks open to improvement from a fair 5lb higher.

The booking of Harry Cobden takes the eye on Dance And Glance who went close at Bangor on handicap debut last time.

He’ll be suited by this quicker ground and looks on a lenient mark.

Givemefive is looking for a winning hat-trick and enjoyed himself over course and distance last time.

He’s up 5lb for that so will need more but trainer Harry Derham is going well so he should be on the premises.

Helnwein was collared on the line by Glory And Fortune at Chepstow and they both have each-way squeaks in this stronger grade.

Our Champ was a good sixth in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham and is 1lb lower. He should enjoy this challenge.

Dan Skelton’s She’s A Saint won well at Aintree before a blip at Plumpton and could bounce back.

Lanesborough drops back in trip and could place.
