Jason (played by Jules Robertson) and Greta (Zoe Croft) wed last year on the BBC hospital drama.
Despite their happy times, they’ve also had their fair share of drama after Greta was hit by a car earlier this year on the programme and her leg was badly injured.
Now, they could potentially have another challenge in store after Greta star Zoe revealed a storyline she’d like to cover.
Jason and Greta both have Asperger syndrome and the pair are raising Guinevere together.
However, could other’s attitudes to them as parents prove to be an obstacle to overcome?
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Zoe divulged: “[A] storyline I’d like to see covered would be like other parents’ attitudes to them.
“Because if we were to take her to a parent and baby class, what would the other parents reactions be to two obviously neurodivergent parents?
“Like what would their perceptions be?”
Could the couple face some prejudice if others are quick to judge them for being “different”?
Zoe also touched upon the importance of characters with autism being portrayed accurately on television.
She said: “I think it’s incredibly important because I feel like there is just a stigma about it.
“People will expect me to act a certain way or be a certain kind of person, I just think there’s this stereotype that everyone with asperges or autism will be kind of like Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory.
“Whilst that is how some people are, that’s not the be all and end all, it’s called the autistic spectrum for a reason.
“It’s really frustrating when I come across that, and I think it’s great what Holby are doing because they are showing the whole spectrum of people.”
Meanwhile, viewers saw Isaac Mayfield (Marc Elliott) return to Holby in a dramatic reveal last week.
The actor behind the role has divulged that there could be plenty of twists and turns in the character’s storyline as he has returned in the wake of his father’s ill-health.
Marc told Digital Spy: ”You do see – there’s a lot of twists and turns in this story. There’s a question mark over Isaac’s relationship with his father, and what exactly that has entailed.
“More stuff gets revealed as the story progresses. And as with all relationships, I think his relationship with his father is a complicated one.
“Dominic and Isaac’s relationship is also extremely complicated, and that’s what the writers and the story were trying to look at during my time back there.”
Holby City continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
