Harris fan poses in underwear outside Capitol building – 'my way to cope with Trump win'

A US model from Madison, Wisconsin chose to cope with the devastation of seeing Donald Trump gain office by stripping to her underwear and posing for pictures outside the state’s Capitol building.

Felicia, who is originally from Minneapolis, told the Express she was heartbroken to see her preferred presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, lose.

Trump won the key swing state of Wisconsin with 56.1% of the vote, although the Democrats were victorious in Madison, the state capital, and its suburbs.

Explaining why she had taken to the steps of the grand building in downtown Madison, Felicia said: “I don’t have much appreciation for them right now. So I put my a** on their great architecture. I do what I can.”

The model explained that her decision to undress and take photos was not a protest but her way of dealing with the Harris loss.

“I woke up this morning and I cried. I cried a lot and then I washed my face and took my clothes off,” she said.

“I came here to take cool pictures because this is just how I express myself.

“I’m coping. I voted and that’s my 5 cents. But I’ll keep doing what I can to support women.”

Felicia said the prospect of seeing Trump in the White House for four more years made her afraid because of the potential impact on reproductive rights.

“I like my uterus and I’m scared. It’s scary not to have control over what happens to my body and my kids,” she added.

When asked if she was worried about security guards telling her to stop posing on the famous landmark, Felicia said, “I’ll leave. I’m not causing any issues, and usually they’re pretty good about nudity here.

“Like there’s a nude bike ride and they’re totally fine with t**s out.”

Some Democrat supporters the Express spoke to in downtown Maddison were taking even more drastic measures.

One Harris fan said he planned to leave the country once he completed his university studies.

Others said they’d been crying and were deeply upset about Trump winning the presidency.
