Terrifying footage shows a paedophile dad pursuing a seven-year-old girl in the toy section of a supermarket before taking her away to abuse her.
Sterling Free, 27, told the child to “follow me”, taking her to his car and driving her to a remote area nearly 18 miles away, where he molested her.
He then drove her back and left her in a nearby car park.
The abuser, from Brisbane, Australia, admitted taking a child under 12 for immoral purposes, deprivation of liberty and indecent treatment.
Footage broadcast by Nine News shows the schoolgirl being lured away from her mum at a Kmart store, which was busy at the time.
After taking her away, Free drove her to secluded bushland, where he carried out the horror attack.
Around an hour-and-a-half later he took her back, and CCTV footage showed her going back into the Kmart alone and looking for her mum.
By that time police had been called.
It happened on December 10 last year, and Free was arrested two days later after information about the kidnapping was shared on Facebook.
The young girl suffered a large scratch on her back as a result of the ordeal, according to reports in Australia.
His lawyer Shaune Irving said: “Mr Free’s actions and his instructions to us have demonstrated a level of remorse.
“He’s somewhat relieved that we have an end in sight and that the matter will be dealt with.”
