A train crash in Germany has left “many people injured” and several seriously hurt.
A passenger service collided with a parked train on the adjacent track at around 7.28am local time in the city of Moers, about 40 minutes from Dusseldorf.
A police spokesman denied previous rumors that the RB31 had collided with a freight train.
The route is closed in both directions as police and paramedics attend the scene and continue investigation work.
