IN A fresh blow for Alan Carr’s Interior Design Masters, the show has been pulled off air and replaced for second week running.
Usually, Alan Carr’s Interior Design Masters airs every Thursday at 8pm on BBC One, in a TV prime time slot.

But, due to Eurovision Song Contest, the 6th episode of the show is going to air on Wednesday 14th MAY at 8pm on BBC One & BBC iPlayer instead.
Ahead of the Eurovision Grand Final on Saturday 17 May, where 26 countries will perform to be crowned the new Eurovision 2025 champion.
There are two live Semi-Finals (Tuesday 13 May and Thursday 15th May) for Eurovision fans to review all 37 countries competing in the Eurovision Song Contest.
The top ten countries from each Semi-Final will then make it through to Saturday’s Grand Final.
In Thursday’s Semi Final 2, viewers will also be treated to the first performance on the Eurovision stage from the UK representatives, Remember Monday, singing their entry song ‘What The Hell Just Happened?’.
This move comes after we revealed that the 5th episode of Interior Design Masters was also rescheduled from Thursday May 8th to the Friday which is the day after.
Execs at the corporation have decided to air a special programme at 8pm as part of a series of special programmes for 80 years since VE Day.
Titled “A Celebration to Remember,” the finale of the commemorations will culminate in a stunning concert.
Zoe Ball will take to the airwaves instead to front coverage of the spectacular show from Horse Guards Parade in London.
BBC News presenter Sophie Raworth will also appear with coverage of the service of thanksgiving from Westminster Abbey earlier that day at 10:45am.
Meanwhile Alan, celebrity brainbox Stephen Fry, Olympic diver Tom Daley and singer Charlotte Church have been photographed in Inverness as they prepare to start filming for Celebrity Traitors.
Host Claudia Winkleman touched down in Scotland earlier this week, with the stars heading to Ardross Castle to begin the game in the coming days.
The contestants, also including Celia Imrie and Kate Garraway, are being kept apart in the hotel they are holed up in ahead of filming.
Line Of Duty actor Mark Bonnar, pop star Paloma Faith, talk show host Jonathan Ross and sports presenter Clare Balding have also signed up to the show.
Alan Carr’s career to date

Alan Carr is a household name, but how did the comedian get his start?
- Alan began pursuing a career in stand-up comedy in the early 2000s, moving up to Manchester from Northampton and regularly performing at the city’s Comedy Store. He was even named City Life’s Newcomer Of The Year in 2001.
- He then became a regular fixture on the small screen following stints on Jimmy Carr’s beloved panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats and the documentary series The Law of the Playground between 2005 to 2006.
- Alan went on to find further fame as the co-host of Channel 4’s The Friday Night Project, which ran from 2006-2009 alongside shamed comic Justin Lee Collins, before going solo and fronting Alan Carr’s Celebrity Ding Dong in 2008.
- Since then, Alan has fronted coverage of some of the UK’s biggest events, such as Crufts in 2018 and the Royal Variety Show in 2021, as well as appearing on an episode of The Great Celebrity Bake Off and becoming a regular judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
- Alan now fronts a number of beloved series, including The Italian Job – a renovation show he hosts with Amanda Holden – and Interior Design Masters – a reality competition show that pits amateur designers against each other.
- In 2023, Alan wrote and starred in the autobiographical drama Changing Ends which depicts his young life growing up in Northampton in the 1980s. The series was an instant hit and returned to ITV for a second series in 2024.
In total 19 celebrities will take part in the series, which is expected to be shown in October.
Interior Design Masters focuses on ten talented interior designers as they battle it out for one life changing contact.
Alan Carr, 48, fronts the show alongside magazine editor Michelle Ogundehin, who serves as the judge.
She welcomes a rotating panel of guest judges to help in the quest to find the best designer.
Previous names have included interior stylist Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and famous retail expert Mary Portas.
