According to property expert Gregory Smith at PriceYourJob.co.uk, there are many ways to remove moss from a driveway.
Some of the “best ways” include using baking soda or boiling water.
1. Baking soda
The expert said: “Baking soda works very well on moss. However, this method works best on dry days.
“Sprinkle the baking soda over the mossy area and leave it to do its thing overnight. Then, sweep everything away the next day.”
2. White vinegar
If you have stubborn areas of moss on your driveway, consider using water and white vinegar to remove them.
Create a mixture consisting of one part white vinegar and one part water.
The pro added: “Place this mixture in a spray bottle so you can easily apply the mixture over the entire area.
“Spray the mixture over the affected area and leave it to sit there. Then, scrub the space with a stiff brush before hosing it off.”
3. Pressure washer
If you are lucky enough to have a pressure washer, they are great for removing moss.
Spray the affected areas with high-pressure water using the device, making sure it’s not too strong as it could damage the pavement.
Gregory noted: “This is a great way to blast away all of the moss and clean your paving.”
4. Boiling water
Similar to when it comes to killing weeds, boiling water is amazing if you’re after instant results.
Carefully pour it over the mossy area, being sure to cover every part of it.
The property pro continued: “Then, scrub the affected area using a stiff brush. Once the moss is loose, you can then use a hose to wash away the debris.
