Fergie whisks 'panicked' Prince Andrew on romantic getaway amid Epstein sex claims

Fergie took a private jet to Malaga, Spain after spending time with the Queen at Balmoral, The Sun reported. Prince Andrew has been facing claims that he is linked to Epstein’s sex trafficking but he vigorously denies the accusations. Andrew and Fergie’s getaway was to show the Duchess of York stands by her ex-husband, according to an insider.

An insider told The Sun: “The Duchess insisted she go on holiday with the Duke to look after him and show the world she stands by him.

“The Duke has been fairly relaxed up to now, he’s starting to s*** himself.

“It’s become the biggest story in the world and he’s at the heart of the coverage.

“She feels this is like the old days when they would take on the world together.

“She knows she has to get him away from all the headlines.”

It comes as legal documents from Epstein’s case claims Andrew spent the night with alleged sex slave, Virginia Roberts, when she was 17.

Andrew was one of many names dragged into the scandal surrounding Mr Epstein after the release of 2,000 court papers.

A Palace spokesman said: “This relates to proceedings in the United States, to which The Duke of York is not a party. Any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue.

“It is emphatically denied that The Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts. Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation.”

Epstein was found dead from a suspected suicide last Saturday.

The day after, the Queen invited Andrew to ride in her car as they went to church in Balmoral on Sunday.

This meaningful gesture followed the death of his financier friend Jeffrey Epstein, and has been described by royal commentators as a sign of unity.
