MOTORING fans are in for a treat as World’s Most Dangerous Roads returns for a brand-new episode, featuring none other than veteran comedian Jack Dee.
But while Jack was initially “thrilled and delighted” to be asked to take part, his excitement was short-lived once he learned where he was headed.

The stand-up star was paired with younger comic Jake Lambert for a journey through the rugged and remote landscapes of Kyrgyzstan.
Reflecting on the surreal nature of the experience, Jake quipped: “Telling people I went on a road trip in Kyrgyzstan with Jack Dee sounds more like I’m describing a fever dream I had rather than an actual real-life experience.”
Also taking to the road in the third series of the show’s revival on U&Dave are Ellie Taylor and The Last Leg star Alex Brooker, who embarked on an unforgettable adventure through the Indonesian island of Java.
Ellie admitted to some initial nerves, saying: “I sweat when faced with a mini-roundabout in suburban Essex, so I had no idea how I’d cope with driving a strange car in rural Indonesia.”
Despite the daunting conditions, she found herself embracing the experience.
She added: “Turns out, when you face the fear and do it anyway, you can have an incredible adventure and laugh more than you ever imagined, even when risking death by moped at every turn.”
Her co-driver Brooker echoed her sentiments, calling the journey “an incredible experience” despite his self-confessed struggles behind the wheel.
“I’ve always been quite a stressful driver, so it wasn’t great for that! But I think I became a better driver for it,” he joked.
“Best of all was getting to laugh with Ellie every day in that car. I couldn’t have wished for a better person to do the trip with.”
The anticipated new episodes will air from 30th March, with comedian Rhod Gilbert returning to narrate World’s Most Dangerous Roads: Rhod Gilbert’s Extra Mile.
Rhod Gilbert’s Extra Mile is a special compilation episode that revisits some of the series’ most jaw-dropping moments.
The latest episodes were filmed last summer alongside those that aired in 2023, which saw Johnny Vegas and Lucy Beaumont navigate Montenegro’s treacherous roads, while Kae Kurd and Babatunde Aléshé took on the wild terrain of Zambia.
World’s Most Dangerous Roads will be available to watch on U&Dave and stream via UKTV Play.
