Red Bull reasserted their dominance ion the 2024 season at the Japanese Grand Prix on the weekend, with Max Verstappen leading Sergio Perez home in a one-two finish for the team. The Ferrari duo of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc were third and fourth respectively.
Lewis Hamilton again laboured in his Mercedes though, coming in ninth, two places behind teammate George Russell. And rumours of who will replace the seven-time world champion continue to swirl at the Silver Arrows.
Sainz, who will leave the Scuderia at the end of the year, is also in the market for a new drive . And there is still a lot of speculation at Red Bull, where Sergio Perez’s contract is soon to expire and the futures of Verstappen and Christian Horner remain up in the air.
