WITH the weather heating up and many of us struggling to sleep due to rising temperatures, what better time for a sweaty bedroom brainteaser?

As the sun beams across the UK this week, the experts at bedroom company Divan Beds have created a heat-themed puzzle which is perfect for taking a five-minute break and cooling off.

So are you up for the challenge?

According to the pros, everyone can spot the woman and her fan, but can you find all five hidden changes?

You’ve got just 10 seconds to spot them all – yes, you heard that correctly – so time is of the essence.

Many of us will be able to quickly spot two or three of the small hidden changes in this warm weather-themed image, but the final change is so well hidden that only 10% of people are able to find it without giving up.

It’s a true test of observation under pressure, so can you beat the clock?

If you get stuck, luckily for you, we’ve got a simple clue.

According to the creators, it’s important to focus on small details in the puzzle.

With this brainteaser, it’s the tiniest tweaks that are the hardest to notice.

So are you eager to see if you’ve got razor sharp vision? Now is the time to put your eyesight to the test.

Set yourself a timer and try not to get too distracted by the bright colours and pretty plant.

You have eyes of a hawk if you can find the missing bunny in this colourful Easter-themed brainteaser in 30 seconds

But with just 10 seconds, it’s no surprise that some puzzlers have quit their search for the five changes minutes after running out of time to beat the record.

Brainteasers are excellent for your noggin because they stimulate cognitive function, improve problem-solving skills and enhance overall mental agility.

They also challenge different areas of the brain, including memory, logic and spatial reasoning – similar to optical illusions.

How can optical illusions and brainteasers help me?

Engaging in activities like solving optical illusions and brainteasers can have many cognitive benefits as it can stimulate various brain regions.

Some benefits include:

  • Cognitive stimulation: Engaging in these activities challenges the brain, promoting mental agility and flexibility.
  • Problem-solving skills: Regular practice enhances analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Memory improvement: These challenges often require memory recall and can contribute to better memory function.
  • Creativity: They encourage thinking outside the box, fostering creativity and innovative thought processes.
  • Focus and attention: Working on optical illusions and brainteasers requires concentration, contributing to improved focus.
  • Stress relief: The enjoyable nature of these puzzles can act as a form of relaxation and stress relief.

So what’s the result? Improved neuroplasticity, which is the brain’s ability to adapt and form new neural connections.

Activities like brainteasers, puzzles and riddles require you to think critically, which also sharpens your analytical and reasoning skills.

Some studies suggest that challenging your brain with teasers may help delay age-related cognitive decline.

Research has found that mental exercise can lower the risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s by keeping your brain active.

So have you found the five hidden changes in these images?

Have you found four but just can’t find the fifth? We’ll give you a clue…look at the woman.

Still can’t find it? Here’s a hint: Try looking at the lady’s face.

Or scroll down to the answers below to check if you spotted the five changes correctly.

Regularly solving brainteasers will help keep your mind sharp, enhance your ability to tackle complex tasks and provide a satisfying mental workout – click here for more.
