England squad announcement LIVE: Six Nations picks leaked as Borthwick makes bold calls

England are preparing for the 2025 Six Nations, half a decade after last winning the competition. Steve Borthwick will be desperate for his team to compete for honours following a disappointing Autumn Nations Series last year.

The England head coach could freshen things up as England attempt to finish higher than third for the first time since they clinched the silverware.

And there have been calls for a host of Gallagher Premiership stars to get an opportunity in international colours.

England had a respectable Six Nations campaign last year as they won their clashes with Italy, Wales and Ireland. But they eventually finished third in the table after suffering a heartbreaking defeat to Ireland on the final day.

They then struggled in the autumn as they lost against New Zealand, Australia and South Africa before ending with a victory over Japan.

And the 2003 world champions have been made third favourites to win the Six Nations, behind joint-favourites Ireland and France. Borthwick’s men get their campaign underway in Ireland on Saturday, February 1.

Follow all the updates in our LIVE blog below as the England squad is revealed.
