Amigo Energy is launching a new electricity plan that offers Texas households 70 hours of free electricity each week.

The “Nights Free” plan provides free electricity from 9 PM to 7 AM Central Time daily.

This adds up to 70 hours of complimentary power per week.

This initiative is designed to help customers save on energy costs by shifting high-usage activities.

These include running dishwashers, laundry machines, or charging electric vehicles, to nighttime hours.

By doing so, households can maximize their savings during the free electricity window.

The plan encourages consumers to partition their energy usage by helping them “save more while [they] sleep OR schedule energy-consuming activities overnight,” according to the website.

The plan combines these free nighttime hours with a fixed daytime rate.

This allows customers to better manage and predict their energy expenses.

This structure is particularly beneficial for those who can adjust their energy consumption habits to align with the plan’s schedule.

Amigo Energy also offers a 100% Green Nights Free Plan.

The plan provides the same benefits while sourcing electricity from renewable energy.

This option caters to environmentally conscious consumers looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

Customers interested in the Nights Free plan can sign up through Amigo Energy’s website or by calling their customer service line.

The company emphasizes that this plan is ideal for those who can take advantage of the free nighttime hours to perform energy-intensive tasks.

It’s important to note that while the plan offers significant savings during the free hours, daytime rates may be higher compared to other plans.

Customers should assess their energy usage patterns to determine if this plan aligns with their lifestyle and consumption habits.

Only Texas residents may qualify for this offer.

Residents can check their eligibility status by typing their zip code into the Amigo website to see available energy plans.

For more information on the Nights Free plan and other offerings, visit Amigo Energy’s official website Amigo Energy.
