Emmerdale’s resident wedding planner Megan Macey (played by Gaynor Faye) has not had the best of luck when it comes to her own love life.
In more recent scenes, fans saw her rekindle an old flame with Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) but with the arrival of Kim Tate (Claire King) she soon found her boyfriend being unfaithful.
In a surprising turn of events she vowed their relationship was over, but the actress who plays Megan has spoken out about a possible second chance.
Speaking to Digital Spy earlier this week she clarified: “I wouldn’t! I don’t think Megan is a big one for adultery.
“Jai (Sharma [Chris Bisson]) did have two affairs and she didn’t want to get back with him, but then she did – I think because they had Eliza,” she explained.
Discussing Graham further: “I think that was a really rotten trick that Graham did.
“He was supposed to be taking Megan and her daughter away to the Lake District, but was easily swayed by Kim Tate.
“So no, in answer to your question! You watching, I’ll read scripts now where Megan is back with Graham and I’ll be sorry I said that!”
Whilst a reconciliation with the businessman is off the cards, Gaynor did hint at the possibility of getting back with Frank Clayton (Michael Praed).
Megan split up with the ex-conman after he also cheated on her with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) back in 2017.
In a bid to get revenge she attempted to set him up for fraud, but rapidly backed out when she learnt of Frank’s secret wedding in Spain.
However, in recent weeks, he has been rushing to her side to help heal her heart following Graham’s infidelity as well as a minor foot injury.
With official soap spoilers revealing Megan to be involved in a car accident next week, will Frank be by her side once more?
“I love working with Michael Praed – he’s the best,” Gaynor said. “He’s the best. He’s so wonderful, he’s such a great team player and so full of stories. He’s just a pleasure. When you’ve got a day with Michael Praed, you just look forward to it.
“I love working with Andrew Scarborough as well. He’s a fantastic actor, but I think the writers don’t want Megan and Graham together right now,” she confirmed.
Last night in Emmerdale, Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade) spotted Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) kissing Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant).
It came as several of the residents headed into Hotton town for a night out in a local club.
Stumbling home, Priya couldn’t believe what she saw and ran off to tell Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi).
Understandably, the teen’s mother was furious and armed with Priya and Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) drove off to find Maya.
However, fans are going to have to wait a few more episodes to find out exactly what’s in store for the grooming teacher.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
