An 87-year-old woman’s own car crushed her to death in the driveway of her Brooklyn home Wednesday, according to police.
The victim never took her vehicle out of gear when she parked at her W. 10th St. house near Lake Place in Gravesend shortly before 3 p.m., cops said.
She had moved to the rear of the car when it rolled backward and slammed into her, according to law enforcement.
Medics rushed the victim to NYU Langone Hospital with severe head and body trauma. She could not be saved, cops said.
The woman’s death is being investigated by the NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad.
