EastEnders spoilers: Ruby Allen at risk as Lola Pearce plots to bring her down?

Lola (played by Danielle Harold) didn’t tell EastEnders favourite Jay (Jamie Borthwick) that she had a fiancé back in Newcastle.

She was ready to give up on her husband-to-be if Jay reciprocated her feelings but he didn’t like the fact she’d lied to him.

Subsequently, he’s decided to move things on with Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) who he has been on-and-off with on the BBC soap.

Ruby has now hired Lola to help her events planning business, unaware of who she really is and her connection to Jay.

When Lola starts working with Ruby she struggles to keep up with Ruby’s demands as well as her relationship with Jay.

The green eyed monster rears its head and Lola is soon planning to get revenge on Ruby.

Lola plots to teach Ruby a lesson while also helping out her grandad Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) simultaneously.

However, viewers will have to wait and see if it works.

By going after Ruby, Lola risks alienating herself from Jay even further.

When Jay rejected Lola last week, she decided she would stay with her fiancé, Ewan.

However, devious Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) intervened to get rid of him and threatened to kill Ewan if he didn’t leave Lola alone.

In Tuesday’s instalment of the soap, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) discovered someone he trusted had been working against him as he rescued Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) from the shipment yard.

As viewers know, it was Ben who tried to muscle in on his business by contacting Danny Hardcastle (Paul Usher).

At the end of the episode, Phil told Ben: “Someone is trying to turn me over and I’m going to make them pay.”

What will Phil do when he uncovers who’s behind it?

He might believe it’s Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) as the teen has also been working with him.

Phil put Keanu in charge of looking after Louise when she was threatened by gangster Midge.

Louise was none the wiser about why Keanu was hanging round her all the time, believing him to be romantically interested in her.

When she went off on her own, that’s what led to her kidnap by Midge.

EastEnders continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
