Ben (played Max Bowden) returned to Albert Square to secretly take down his father Phil (Steve McFadden) on EastEnders.
In order to keep up his charade of happy families, he brought Lola (Danielle Harold) with him as well as their daughter, Lexi.
Ben has been seen controlling Lola on the BBC soap, dictating what she can and can’t do.
He wasn’t keen when she started cosying up to former flame Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) earlier this year on EastEnders.
However, Jay grew distant when he found out that Lola was engaged to a man back in Newcastle, Ewan (Riley Jones).
He’s since gone on to enter into a relationship with Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) but it could all turn on its head in upcoming scenes.
It begins as Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) tells his granddaughter Lola that Jay and Ruby aren’t as solid a couple as they appear to be.
Jay starts to feel awkward when he learns that Ruby’s very wealthy after inheriting money from her dad Johnny (Billy Murray) when he died years ago.
He confides in Billy who is quick to relay the news to Lola.
Meanwhile, there’s more good news for Lola as she lands herself a job at the salon.
But her positive mood is dampened when she sees Jay and Ruby making up later on.
As a result of this turn of events, Lola makes a decision and Ben is shocked when Lexi tells him she and Lola are moving back up to Newcastle.
Ben confronts Lola about what Lexi has told him and pleads with her to remain in Walford for one more day so he can spend more time with Lexi.
He’s determined that the pair of them should stay and recruits Billy to help him.
What drastic lengths will Ben go to in order to get his way?
Elsewhere on Albert Square, there’s major turmoil going on in the Mitchell household.
Sharon (Letitia Dean) is pregnant but she doesn’t know who the baby’s father is as it could be her husband Phil’s (Steve McFadden) or former toy boy lover Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
During yesterday’s instalment of the programme, the situation was made more complicated as Phil invited Keanu to move in with them.
The episode ended on a cliffhanger as Sharon informed Phil that she had something to tell him.
Viewers will have to wait and see if she reveals the truth about her affair.
EastEnders continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on BBC One.
