‘Don’t expect these gifts from me’ – Travis Hunter issues warning to fiancee Leanna Lenee and Co after $46.5m NFL deal

NFL two-way star Travis Hunter sent advice to his fiancée Leanna Lenee and the rest of his crew about what he expects when it comes to gifts.

The Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver and cornerback gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at his 2025 NFL Draft day preparations.

Throughout the pre-NFL Draft process, Hunter posted clips showing his day-to-day life on his official YouTube channel titled Travis Hunter Draft Day: The Documentary.

This week, the Colorado Buffaloes product showed the first day of the NFL Draft which saw him land with the Jaguars with the No. 2 overall pick.

A sequence showed, before the festivities, Hunter’s fiancee, Lenee, presenting the 22-year-old with a Rolex watch worth around $30,000.

“Wait! What type of watch is this?” Hunter asked, and one of his family members responded, “Presidential Rolex. That’s the big boy.”

The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner then asked, “How much that cost? Yeah… How much does a presidential Rolex cost?”

After finding out that his watch is worth $30,000, Hunter said that he preferred a new boat.

Then, after being told how the Rolex was an investment and that the watch actually cost close to $70,000, Hunter directed a warning for everyone near to him in the room.

“Yeah, y’all tripping…It’s a good investment, [but] don’t expect these type of gifts from me. That ain’t happening, my boy.

“These type of gifts ain’t happening. Not [from] me,” Hunter said as laughter could be heard in the room.

Hunter would be seen rocking the bling alongside Lenee at the NFL Draft in Green Bay last month.

He would be selected by the Jaguars, who traded up from the No. 5 overall pick with the Cleveland Browns to take the Colorado superstar.

Hunter is now projected to receive a four-year, $46.5 million contract from the Jaguars.

Travis and Leanna announced their engagement in February 2024.

They officially started dating two years earlier.

Hunter asked the big question with a stunning ring that featured a diamond band, and she said yes.

“A million times, yes,” Leanna captioned the engagement photos she posted on Instagram.

However, after Hunter won the Heisman Trophy in 2024, some fans criticized Leanna’s reaction during the ceremony.

Lenee was slammed after a video showed the Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders tapped her on the shoulder and appeared to tell her to stand up and cheer for Travis, after he won the award.

Fans also called out Lenee over a past video which showed her appearing to be upset with Hunter after she posed for pictures with female fans at his own event.

Hunter said on a Twitch stream that he feels “the same pain that she feel” when people criticize her.
