Donald Trump’s jury has reached a verdict on his historic hush money trail after hours of deliberation by the 12 New Yorkers on the jury.
After swearing to be fair and impartial, the jurors had the mammoth task of considering all the evidence presented to determine their verdict.
The seven men and five women deliberated for two days to discuss the first criminal trial of a former US president in history.
They were allowed to end notes to the judge asking to rehear testimony or see evidence, but their discussions remained secret.
Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records at his company in connection with an alleged scheme to hide potentially embarrassing stories about him during his 2016 Republican presidential election campaign.
