Another assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump has been thwarted after police stopped a man armed with guns at his Coachella Vally rally on Saturday.
A local sheriff has reported a man with fake passes and a loaded shotgun, handgun and high capacity magazine was arrested about one mile from the venue according to the New York Post.
“We probably stopped another assassination attempt,” Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said.
The suspect was intercepted by police at a checkpoint about half a mile from the rally entrance.
