Dollar Tree was originally named Only $1.00 and started with items priced at $1, but in 2021, the company raised the price point to $1.25 to combat inflation.
The discount chain has since introduced three pricing models, offering a range of price points.
Dollar Tree 3.0 locations feature majorly multi-priced items, ranging from $1.25 to $7.
The chain also operates 2.0 stores, with a smaller multi-price assortment, as well as 1.0 locations that primarily sell $1.25 items.
