Disney Channel alum Skai Jackson confirms pregnancy after DV arrest

Disney Channel alum Skai Jackson has confirmed she’s pregnant with her first child, months after reportedly telling law enforcement the news during her domestic violence arrest.

The 22-year-old “Jessie” and “Bunk’d” star told People that she’s “thrilled to begin this new chapter” alongside her boyfriend, whose name she has not publicly shared.

Jackson confirmed the happy news three months after she was taken into custody, during which time she reportedly told authorities that she and her partner were happily engaged and expecting a baby together.

Back in August, Jackson allegedly got physical with her boyfriend at Universal CityWalk, where security saw the actress shove him more than once, according to TMZ.

Jackson was ultimately released within a few hours, but not before being cited for misdemeanor domestic battery.

News of the arrest came on the heels of Jackson appearing at Comic-Con to promote her upcoming film, “The Man in the White Van.” The thriller, out last month, boasts a 100% approval rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

It’s unclear how long Jackson and her partner have been together or whether they are indeed engaged.

The Daily News has reached out to Jackson’s rep for additional comment.

The former Disney child star is best known for her role as Zuri Ross on “Jessie” and the spin-off, “Bunk’d,” though Zuri had cameos in multiple Disney series, including Zendaya-led “K.C. Undercover.”
