‘Disgusted’ Trump fans rage outside New York courthouse after protesters clash

Armed with a Trump hat, he yelled at a mixed crowd of a few dozen outside the courthouse where the ex-president was found guilty only an hour earlier.

“I am feeling disgusted,” Motivate, who lives in the Bronx, New York, told Daily Express US.

“To see that even a man with so many credentials and money can still be put in the justice system and used like a guinea pig. It’s ridiculous.

“It makes me not have any hope for the future of this country.”

Another group of Trump supporters wearing red hats were heard chanting “Not guilty!” moments after the unanimous verdict was revealed.

They came from various parts of New York, including Staten Island and Brooklyn.

It took jurors just over 11 hours to return guilty verdicts on all 34 charges of falsifying business records.

New Yorkers who feel Trump, 77, deserves the conviction also gathered during the peaceful demonstration later in the evening.

Retired teacher Annette Delaney was in town to celebrate 18-year-old niece Terri’s high school graduation.

They held aloft a homemade sign that said ‘GUILTY’ alongside a cut out of Trump’s head.

Delaney, 67, told Daily Express US: “I am feeling overjoyed about the verdict.

“Justice is finally about to be served.

“I feel the energy. I thought there would be more people [at the courthouse] but the organizers told me there was too short of notice.”

Niece Terri added: “I also feel like the truth has been said.”

The recent high school grad was keen to voice her concerns about the age of Trump and Biden, describing them as “grandpas.”

Speaking outside court earlier, Trump said: “I’m a very innocent man…This was a rigged, disgraceful trial…This was done by the Biden administration in order to hurt a political opponent. It’s a disgrace, and we’ll keep fighting. Our country has gone to hell. We’re a nation in decline.

“This was a rigged decision right from day one, with a conflicted judge who should never have been allowed to judge this case…The real verdict is in November.”
