And his message this week comes after Shedeur, 23, suffered a brutal NFL Draft.
The young quarterback was widely expected to be a first round pick in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
He was forced to wait until the fifth round on Saturday afternoon before finally being selected.
Deion posted on X, “A lie don’t care who tells it or repeats it.
“Its goal is to be heard.
“The truth could be standing right in front of you consistently for years but you don’t see it because a lie is in your mind.
“The truth may not be as popular as a lie but the truth wins in the end.”
Fans were adamant that the message was in reference to Shedeur.
One said, “The truth was a 5th round pick. I feel for Shedeur because he was clearly misguided.
“Bad advisory cost that young man a lot. All the best.”
Another commented, “Fact is that your son needs to prove himself. That’s it.
“He has a great opportunity in front of him. Focus on that part.
“His motivation may be positive or negative energy.
“You as the father can help him or hurt him with that message. Take it from another dad.
“Positivity is probably the best motivation.”
Shedeur’s dad Deion had been vocal about his son’s talent and ability leading up to the NFL Draft.
Some questioned whether the NFL legend’s presence helped or hindered Shedeur.
And a claim from an anonymous coach on the eve of the draft rocked the league.
The coach claimed Shedeur came across as “so entitled” and his interview was the worst he’d ever seen.
Shedeur was eventually taken with the 144th pick by the Cleveland Browns on Saturday.
