Sanders was expected to fall later than expected, but going all of the way out of the first round was a major shock.
While fans couldn’t believe it happened, it appears that the Sanders family was also out of the loop.
As more and more QB-needy teams passed on Sanders, he and his father looked stunned as the night went on.
Deion Sanders looked especially disappointed when the New Orleans Saints passed on his son at No. 9.

They opted to draft offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr. out of Texas instead.
Coach Prime could be seen shaking his head in disbelief after the trade was announced.
The father-son duo also discussed the Browns’ decision to pass on Sanders after trading down to No. 5 overall.
They selected defensive lineman Mason Graham instead of addressing their quarterback room.
When Shedeur brought up the fact that the Browns have Joe Flacco, Deion wasn’t having it.
“Flacco my age,” he said.
Flacco is 40 years old and would be playing his 18th NFL season if he gets any action this year.
The Saints and Browns could still draft Sanders in the second round, but it seems that his family is already offended by the first round snub.
NFL fans shared their thoughts about Sanders’ slide after the first round on social media.
“No pain hits harder than watching your kid get passed over when you know what they’re capable of,” one fan said.
